I understand the actual Petition’s title is wrong, I apologize for that.  These kinds of things go right over my head.  Even when they’re staring at me dead in the face, I cannot see that I used the wrong word until OOPS I CAN’T CHANGE IT NOW.

I have 30 days to get 25,000 signatures on this petition to make it happen.  The Westboro Baptist Church is planning on picketing the funerals of the innocent children that were killed in yesterday’s school shooting.  They say they will “Sing praise to God in glory of executing his Judgement.” On Children.  Kindergarteners, to be exact. 

They also picket the funerals of the fallen men and women who have died overseas at war.  I don’t care for war, but these people believe they are protecting us and I praise them for that.  I hold them higher than myself because that is something I would never do.  I run the other way when the fighting starts, and these people go into it to protect their country.  They die protecting this country, they die with honor and these people spit on that honor. 

The Westboro Baptist Church is not a Church.  It is a cult.  I am sick and tired of them tormenting innocent people.  I believe it should be a Human RIGHT to be able to mourn your dead in peace.  To be able to not have to ignore idiots with signs, who praise their God for smiting the wicked.  How are these people wicked?

For loving who they love?

For being an innocent child?

For protecting the country they believe in?

How does that make them wicked? 

Please sign my petition.  Because I am sick, and tired of seeing these people get away with things like this.  How would you feel if your brother, sister, father, mother came home - in a casket from war and these people showed up at their funeral?

How would you feel if you were in the middle of mourning your 5 year old son, or daughter, or sister, or brother just before the Holidays, just before you got to see the joy of them unwrapping their presents, and these people show up? 

How would you feel if someone you loved, was hated just for loving you and their funeral was picketed because of it? 

I am done with these people, and I am taking a stand.  I will make this petition a hundred times if I have to.  I will make it a thousand times, until I get the numbers I need because I am done.
